In addition, each BDR device continuously synchronizes with not one, but TWO bi-coastal data centers, to maintain a constant offsite mirror of all stored data. All communication with the data centers are done with AES 256 and SSL key-based encryption. In the event of a disaster or BDR device failure, a new BDR device can be shipped overnight with all data already in place. This allows for an entire BDR’s data to be recovered easily. Daily off-site uploads of the BDR’s data provides access to previous dailies for up to one year. No matter what happens, your data remains safe and always retrievable.
